How to capture and record video from your PC screen (Youtube.com video being used as an example)
In order to capture video from your screen with the help of FVD Suite, you will need to follow several simple steps:

1. Launch FVD Suite and go to "Screen Recorder" tab. In order to ensure correct operation of Screen Recorder, install corresponding browser plugins (Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox are supported at the moment). In order to install those plugins, click the button with the logo of the browser you are using. Installation of the plugin is required only once when you are using Screen Recorder for the very first time!

2. ) Launch the browser. Our plugin with "Start Recording" button must show at the top of the window.

Open the page containing the video that you need to record but do no play the video. Click "Start Recording" button. (FVD Suite must be launched!)

3. "Capture Options" menu containing capture settings will appear.

You can state the name of the recorded video in "Filename" field as well as state the folder, where you want to keep it.

You can also choose the output format of the recorded video (WMV, MP4, AVI and MOV are supported) as well as its bitrate in "Video Options" menu.

Specify sound settings in "Audio Options" menu. First, however, you need to select the right device. In order to do that, click "All Devices" button

Rick-click in the "Sound" window and choose "Show Disabled Devices" from the appearing menu

Choose "Stereo Mix" from "Device" list.

You can state the time gap between the clicking of "Start" button and the actual beginning of the record in "Show countdown before recording (in seconds)" menu.

As soon as you get all settings specified, click "Record"

4. Use the frame to choose the area of the screen that you want to use as source for capturing video (in our case it will be the area containing the player window)

5. Launch the video and after some time the recording will start (the delay depends on the time you have stated in "Show countdown before recording" section).

6. You can stop the record by clicking "Stop Recording" button. When the recording is over, the captured video will be converted into the format specified by you. When this part of the process is over, you are free to do whatever you want to do with the recorded video.
